A Word from the Pastor
Praise the Lord! What a blessing and delight to be at RLBC today. I am so glad you have chosen to be with us on today. I believe that you are going to be blessed and stirred throughout the service today. I only ask that you be obedient to what God would have you to do. If it’s to come pray or raise your hand in worship to Him or to say amen! Who knows what a simple act of obedience will do for this meeting!
I am so proud and excited for our student ministry! They will be leading us in Sunday School and worship today. They have been working over the last several weeks getting ready and prepared for today. I know that you will receive their offering of worship to God warmly today. It has been great watching these students as they start to begin to blend and bond together. I know that God will raise them up at some point at His choosing and will impact this community for Him.
I have kept a steady beat in our announcements that Joe Amaral is coming on the 26th of this month. He is from Toronto Canada. Joe has really opened up in a far more
profound way my understanding of Scripture in of its Hebraic background. Some things I have simply missed because I did not take into account the 1st Century
audience that was being addressed to the degree I should have. Although I have studied hermeneutics, still they stopped short of the importance of the idioms that are used in light of that culture. I am simply asking each one of you to please be here on the 26th for this meeting. You will not be bored but blessed! He is an outstanding
Biblical communicator and as he teaches you will say, wow, I never saw it that way before!
Have a blessed week RLBC! Keep sharing the Good News and bring someone to Sunday School next week when you come! Thanks for all you do.
Yours because I’m His,
Bro. Steve
